About the NSBE National Convention
The Annual NSBE National Convention, held every March in a different location across the United States, is a transformative experience for our chapter and its members. This flagship event brings together thousands of NSBE members from across the country to participate in professional development workshops, networking opportunities, career fairs, and even on-site job interviews. For college students, it’s an unparalleled chance to connect with industry leaders, explore internship and job opportunities, and gain valuable insights from experts in various engineering and STEM fields.

As a chapter, attending the convention strengthens our collective growth by fostering teamwork, enhancing our network with other chapters, and expanding our visibility within the broader NSBE community. Each year, we aim to send a group of 10-20 committed and active chapter members to represent the University of Arizona and take full advantage of this exceptional opportunity. To support our members, we work with sponsors and partners to provide funding for selected attendees who meet eligibility requirements.
Want Funding Support as a UA NSBE Member?
For the 2024-2025 school year, members are eligible for our funding if they have attended at least three chapter meetings and participated in at least three NSBE Jr. workshops, social gatherings, or community outreach events. The convention is more than just a trip—it’s a life-changing experience that equips members with the tools and connections they need to succeed professionally and personally.
